7 Hills Instruction and Training Programs

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Canopy landing
Experience the Thrill!
Above anything else you'll ever do!
We offer 2 types of instruction/training programs. You can choose from either one for your first skydive:
1) Instructor Assisted Deployment (IAD)
                                 or
2) Tandem
IAD classes are held almost every Saturday (or Sunday by special reservation) from April through October.  The class starts at 8 a.m., rain or shine. You'll be jumping in the afternoon, weather permitting, so plan on spending the whole day.
Tandem classes are by appointment only, and run all year long. The tandem class is about a half hour and then you will jump after that, weather permitting.
The classes fill up fast, so don't wait too long to make your reservation.
We make every effort, but rain or high winds may delay your actual jump.
See our Freq Asked Questions page for some more info.
Requirements
You must be 18 or over, want to have fun, be in good health, and weigh no more than 220 pounds in order to jump with us. No prior experience is necessary.  Please refrain from alcohol for at least 12 hours before the course. Wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. A non-refundable $75 deposit is required to reserve your spot in a class or an appointment.
IAD
Instructor Assisted Deployment is a training method that opens your parachute almost immediately upon leaving the aircraft. You are never attached to the plane and the deployment sequence is identical to the way experienced skydivers open their own parachutes. This thrilling, solo, 'do it by yourself' method is also a way to train to become a licensed skydiver.  Classes are held most Saturdays (or Sunday by special reservation), April through October.  Training starts in the morning and if weather permits, jump in the afternoon (from 3500 feet!)  Radio contact assists you in landing your parachute safely. An 8x10 color photo of your exit is available for purchase. Reservations required.
Tandem
Jump from 10,000 feet attached to your instructor with a parachute built for two! Go along for the ride of your life!  Tandem skydiving has made it easy to enjoy the exciting sport of skydiving and you will be harnessed to the front of a fully licensed tandem instructor.  Your instructor is in charge every step of the way, from aircraft exit, to freefall, (for about 30 seconds at 120 MPH!), to a comfortable, accurate landing (about 5-7 minutes).  For more fun, have one of our aerial photographers video of your entire jump. About a half an hour of training. Appointment necessary.   See our Video page for a tandem video.
